The challenge
Electrical engineering for a 401-apartment mixed-use development requires careful design of the high-voltage supply infrastructure, substation requirements, metering arrangements and distribution networks serving a large and varied mix of apartment types and common building areas. Load calculations, switchboard design and riser sizing must account for the full population of the building, and all electrical documentation must meet the requirements of the relevant utility providers and the NCC.
